I’ll never forget the first time I heard about coping skills during grad school. Up until then, everything I’d heard was about vague “self-care” or “just being mindful.”

But NONE of that really helped when I was stressed, overwhelmed, and about to freak out. Until I discovered Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and it completely changed the game.

DBT didn’t just give me a list of strategies—it showed me exactly how to match the right strategies to specific struggles.
