 OUR MISSION

STATEMENT

We are here to BUILD CONFIDENCE and help teens know YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

The rates of teens diagnosed with anxiety and depression are RISING! As a result, the number of teens experiencing difficulty around self-injury and suicidal thoughts/actions are rapidly increasing as well.

We want to stop that trend by providing quality mental health services to teens NOW so they can enjoy a healthier, happier, and more fulfilled life. By helping one teen learn the skills they need to hang in there and communicate their feelings more effectively, we inadvertently help all those they engage with on a regular, or even one-time basis.

 GUIDING VALUES

Integrity

We operate with full transparency and honesty.

We value our client's privacy and believe in keeping them informed about the decisions we make, and the way we do things, so they have a full understanding and choice in moving forward with each new step on their healing journey.

We do our absolute best to act in a manner that is congruent with the commitments we make to our clients and our team.

You Got This!

We believe our clients and team members are highly capable.

Our clients are so resilient that they often forget how much work they've already done to get this far in life. They may be feeling stuck, or unsure, which is why they come to counseling.

We know they already have the ability to move along their healing journey, we're here to help.

We Are IN This Together

We are here to support you and be WITH you in this journey, together.

The type of counseling provided at Mallory Grimste, LCSW is relationship-based. This means the interactions that occur in the therapy room between the client and therapist are used to mirror the client's experiences outside the therapy room.

The client-therapist relationship is unique in that the therapist willingly participates in the role the client needs them to be, so the client can practice new ways of thinking and interacting with themselves, others and the world.

The goal of this type of therapy is not to tell clients where to go, or what to do. Rather, we participate in reflecting and processing their interactions and decisions in thoughtful and meaningful ways that will take them where they ultimately want to be.
