Here's the good news 💛

Out-of-network doesn't mean not covered.

It works a lot like a store rebate.

💳

Step 1

You pay the session fee

Upfront, on the day of your session. Like paying full price at the register.

🧾

Step 2

You submit a superbill

A detailed receipt from your therapist with everything your insurance needs.

💌

Step 3

Your plan pays some back

If you're eligible, your insurance reimburses a portion, based on your plan.

Every plan is different, so the only way to know what yours covers is to ask them directly... and that's exactly what this guide helps you do. You don't need to decide anything yet.

Questions? 🤔

Quick answers

Is it really free?

Yep! You'll get it by email, along with occasional emails from me with mental health strategies and a heads-up when I have openings. Unsubscribe anytime.

I'm not working with you. Will it still help?

Absolutely. The questions work for any out-of-network therapist.

Will it tell me exactly how much I'll get back?

Not on its own, because every plan is different. Your insurance company is the only one who can tell you what your coverage actually looks like, so you'll still want to call them. The guide gives you the exact questions to ask so that call is quick and clear.

What's a superbill?

A detailed receipt from your therapist with the information your insurance needs to process a reimbursement claim.

Does this work if I don't live in Connecticut or New York?

Yes! The guide works with any US-based insurance company, wherever you live.

One thing to double-check: therapists are licensed state by state, based on where the client is physically located during each session. So ask the therapist you found whether they can legally see you (or your teen) in your state.

For example, I'm licensed in Connecticut and New York. That means I can see clients in my Branford, CT office, or by telehealth when they're physically in CT or NY.

Ready? 💖

One phone call. Real answers.

Grab the guide, set aside about an hour whenever it works for you, and get the clarity you came here for.
