You have most likely spent a lot of time thinking about seeing a Teen Therapist.

You’ve played around with the idea. Perhaps you've watched a few videos. You are also reading this post which means you’ve at least thought about scheduling a consult.

When is it actually time to take the plunge and talk to a therapist?

How do you know what’s normal teenage behavior and when it’s the right time to bite the bullet and schedule that first session?

Here are 4 signs that it’s time for you to see a Teen Therapist:

 If you find yourself nodding your head yes to any of these it’s time to make a change.

  • You want to quit everything- even that dance class you’ve always enjoyed

  • Your sleep and/or appetite patterns have changed

  • You stay up really late doing homework every night

  • You get irrationally angry about EVERYTHING!

Those are the 4 signs that you might need to talk to a Teen Therapist.

What now? Well, there are a few things you can do.

  • You can watch even more mental health videos like this one, but that’s not really personal to your needs.

  • OR you can finally ask your parent to schedule that first session for you.
