What is the Difference Between Group and Individual Counseling?

When most people talk about seeing a therapist, they often mean individual counseling- where the sessions are just you and your therapist with the sole focus on you.

There is another option though - Group Therapy - it's actually one I prefer with teens since most of their reasons for entering into therapy come from feelings of loneliness and difficulties with friends.
